What makes us different

Hey beautiful! Stephanie and Lauren here! We wanted to take a minute to explain the magic behind Legacy Retreat and the unique experience of sitting with our teacher, Sunny Solwind.

When we started our medicine path, we quickly realized that there were many facilitators out there who weren't holding safe spaces for women with complex trauma, honoring indigenous traditions, or educating and training their patients on how to effectively navigate their experience in the medicine. 

We wanted to create a safe space that wasn't just "come and drink this medicine" but a full all encompassing educational experience with classes to provide safety, support and depth during our work. 

And because we found deep sisterhood, and lifelong friendship through this work, we wanted to create a space where other women could find like minded sisters to build those friendships too.

OUR RETREAT EXPERIENCE

2026: 6 DAYS, 5 NIGHTS

 

Sunday March 15th 2026 or July 19th 2026: 

Land in San Jose airport on July 20th and stay at the suggested hotel in our FAQ section (cost not included in our retreat fees)

Monday March 16th or July 20th: 

The Transportation van will pick you up around 8am to bring you to Cascada Eysiana. It is about a 4 hour drive. You'll arrive at Cascada in the afternoon and ground in, Welcome Dinner Celebration, opening Cacao Ceremony & Shamanic Music introduction

Tuesday Day 2:

Morning Somatics and Sound Healing, Ayahuasca Navigation Class Full Orientation, Mediumship Class & Intention Setting Circle. Legacy Ceremony 1

Wednesday Day 3:

Healing Trauma through the medicine class & Deepening Your Channel, Integration Support Circle, and Legacy Ceremony 2

Thursday Day 4:

Legacy Ceremony 3 (day ceremony) followed by Celebration Dinner

Friday Day 5: Share circle, Post Ceremony Integration Class and trip to the waterfall weather permitting

MEET YOUR
FACILITATORS

We are proud to introduce you to our teacher and head facilitator of Legacy Retreats: Sunny Solwind. With 28 years of medicine experience, long standing musical study, sound healing and shamanic technology, Sunny is an expert facilitator and guide specializing in trauma repair, emotional tracking and physical healing.

A Fardado in the Santo Daime tradition, Sunny is also studied in Shipibo lineage and the Native American traditions.  He has been facilitating ceremony for 15 years.

Sunny has drastically changed our lives with the prayer of his work and his shamanic medicine gifts and we are so excited to share his medicine with all of you in this incredible retreat.

With the lush jungle foliage right outside your door enjoy your escape from the hustle and bustle of life with our cozy retreat. Intended to promote relaxation through simplicity and symbiosis with nature you will enjoy your comfortable single bed and private bathroom. Each furnished accommodation will have two single beds for two women and a private bathroom.
